Frustratingly, I think I went even quicker on Tuesday night but Strava started the clock when I got to the top rather when I started the descent.. Not for the first time either, Grrrrr

I don't know, I'll have to look on the laptop later. I can only think it must be just by the berm at the base of 'Leap of Faith' as that's where we climb to, turn around, drop saddle, get in right gear, etc.. getting ready for launch ;)
It must be picking me up arriving at top and registering on the segment before actually descending. :(

The reason I think this is a few times its got my time as 1 and half minutes so over a minute longer than the actual descent.

Not really ;) But nearly there :)

Got back in the saddle to help with recovery and after a few rides things moving along a lot quicker :)
I've been trying to take it easy but then I come across one of my favourite local trail sections and before I know it I'm giving it some 8-)

I'm conscious that the knee isn't right yet (was reminded of this when swimming with my eldest son at the weekend, surface dive to grab a sink-toy thingy and instinctively did breast-stroke kick and FECK!! it hurt!!. I was told swimming would be beneficial but DO NOT do breast-stroke kick) but it's a lot stronger now and shoulder more or less the same, nearly there.

Whoa, not ready for that yet ;)

I'll definitely be back over there soon but I need to make sure knee is up to scratch first. It's fine riding with it, it's the possible need to put foot down, etc. that I need to be careful of for bit longer.

Looking forward to getting back over though.. In my absence, I also bought myself some upper body armour so good to go :)

Geoff. I actually added that segment to Strava (although the Murder Hill bit was already there) and it should be about where the tree is at the top i thought, but perhaps need re-checking.

I spent a bit of time at the top faffing about, dunno whether Strava starts timing then or when it knows you are actually moving.

I fancy trying to set a better time, might visit with full face and somone to say whether there are any pesky walkers/dogs in the way, some young kid nearly squished a dog last week.
