Hiya Gents,

My good friend was diagnosed with testicular cancer in January. They caught it early, but he still had to have an Orchiectomy. Its been a rough time for him and his fiancé who has since walk out on him.

As a mate, I don't know what to do or say to make it better. So I am trying to do the only thing I know. And that is bikes.

I have been putting parts together to build him a bike. But I need help please gents.

I know its a big ask, but I was hoping Essex Herts MTB members could help him out with any old bits and pieces you have lying around.

Its doesn't have to be a great bike but as long as it rolls and he can throw it around Danbury or Epping, just to get his mind off everything.

The dude has taken everything on the chin and just needs a break.

thanks for any help

Good luck Noel. Haven't got much, but have a Marzocchi AM SL fork (about 120-130mm) if that's any use.

I have a rear derailleur in the shed, and a whole (old specilized bike) in the shed which you could take parts if you need them.

Noel mentioned his mates roll of back luck today - the bike is a wicked idea.

Dude I must have some stuff out back - we can have a rummage when you pick up the stem - great idea man. Also happy to help build it up - should have all the tools required.
