My first 'uplift';....too apart from ski lifts..(which are a lot nicer/comfy..less diesel fumes too).

Seems a few places have removed the NorthShore, I agree that it could well be the H&S aspect plus it does start to rot and collapse quite quickly it seems.

Still, was great fun I thought..I could do the Wiggly Woo all day, was great for getting the hang of jumps and tabletops that wernt too intimidating.

Hi paul, thanks for taking the time to explain your position.
From what you have posted it looks like ukbp will be well worth future visits!

Look forward to seeing you in the future

Dito. When there is so many new trail centers and uplift venues opening year on year it would be a real shame for older ones/oringenal places that started mountainbiking in the uk to be left behind or close down.

Good to hear the people that run the business, surely it's not easy and cheap to keep a place like that, but I believe that small tweaks and a bit of tidying up could be done. For example the area just before and after the bridge could be cleared of all those stones, the approach and the exit of the bridge were very sketchy but not in a good way. Also before the uplift opens someone could go down the trails to check them out, there were quite few big rocks right on the middle of the track when we started the day, I think everyone was more focused to avoid them than to really tackle the slope. And the puddles and bumps in that middle section could be easily eliminated.

Perhaps they should have a dig day. well a tidy/refurb day with a limited number of positions and those that give their time to help get a free annual pass or something ? half a day tidy up and half a day ride and a BBQ or something ?

I'd help out and i didn't even go LOL wish i had and its on the list as soon as i can arrange it !

Lol, I knew you would say this.

I'm up for going back, does need a bit of work but was still great fun.

Devils Dyke and Tsubo were pretty challenging, would be interesting in the wet

Edit of UKBP from the other weekend. Sorry it took so long to get up.
A bit annoyed with my gopro as it kept crashing through out the day meaning a lot of the footage was unusable! So here is what I could use!
