I can ride again and it looks like no roadie style for me. Just bridle ways for a bit though lucky enough I've got a close disused railway and field margin route planned Sunday morning. I just need to stop when pooped and no pushing through to keep going :)

I'm going to get a x-trainer off eBay to help rebuild my core as well just walking I can feel my right side is weak :(

Awesome ride 6 miles on the flat In an hour but back on a bike :) I'm very weak it's quite scary really
But maybe a slow Danbury in 4 wks (little goals)

Adam, great news on allowed to ride.. Take it easy and build up slowly.. You already know yourself but your body will tell you..

My sister-in-law has a good cross-trainer she thought she'd use but is selling instead.
It's a programmable one (changes tension) so very good for setting up your own personalised sessions.

Felt good riding but had a bad afternoon (had to take strong pain killers)
I'm not sure how you ride for delayed pain :). I'm hoping a cross trainer will repair my core quicker but realised to slow recovery will be
