Been skiing in bansko a lot, may be worth checking this out.....still cheap out there? what's the standard of trails?

Yes one of the ski resorts that happens to be an hour drive from my parents house now have purpose built 9 trails with varying difficulty level green to black. It is cheap. Day lift pass is the equivalent of 10 pounds. Food/drinks are cheap compared to the other European resorts. I met the people behind the project and there are planned lots of wood work and jumps in the next couple of years. Bansko as far as I know doesn't have a bike park yet.
The trails are good fun. Lots of roots, berms and and some river gaps. It still work in progress though.

Looks good Ian I can't believe I've sold my enduro almost the perfect bike for this just what i was looking for years ago xc on steroids not quite DH although longer forks on the 456 might cut it ?

The 456 will be perfect for most of it, but next round is aston hill and comp entry only

I've been tempted especially after spending a few years riding the Quantocks, which was home to round 1. Maybe next year.
