I run my 456 summer season with a RS recon 135mm

its fine, i have a 160 talas on my trail bike and never use it... i dont think talas are the way forward... over kill.

just IMO

I loved talas on my spesh enduro I also changed the shuttle to alter head angle and BBQ height :)
it's my only steed so I'm thinking 100 mm for racing MSG and 140 for Surrey, Wales, lakes etc not really on the fly more sea wall tonight trail centre today.
If 140 is enough though big difference between 100-120mm when I adjusted the rebas I'm thinking another20mm would make them bang on :) it's also my only steed until my Career change is finished
Thanks tugger

Are these a good buy ? My budget is £220 from the sale of my rebas
I could internal adjusted to 140 just missing low speed compression but bolt through axle and 11/8 steerer is hard to find at this price point. Cable rub would be covered by my neo guard

So ordered the adapters from superstar and noticed 10mm rear axle conversion.
Does anyone run this and would it improve the rear stiffness on a 456 ?

I doubt it. It's steel and stiff anyway! Like the fork! You didn't go for talas then?

All the talas forks in my tight budget were damaged in some way. I figured I would lock it out when towing the kids trailer etc
Revelations were all too much too. This chap seemed really genuine and the slight rub on the uppers will be covered by my neo guard.
I'm hoping it will ride like my 6" FS but still climb like a mountain goat

Plus I still can't ride for a bit and thought maybe :) I've got so much time to rebuild the bike I might strip it down and rebuild it again from scratch

Not here yet and I've got a sick wife so maybe I just had a virus my body is too weak to fight at the moment :) or there is a lymph node thing you can get in your stomach after bowel surgery ?
Feeling better than in weeks so I might actually recover now
