So, took the Slackline out for a test ride. Quick blast to Hadleigh, basicly I love this bike. Makes you want to ride fast and feels like it can handle anything up and down. Got up the hills (except the real steep, narrow, rooty bit heading towards the Leap of Faith, is that Murder Hill? but I doubt I could have made that on anything after being fooked by the rest of the hill)! I guess it's going back to hardtail but it felt like I got loads more out for the effort I put in compared to my Coiler. I guess more of an xc bouncer may feel more efficient also, but hopefully I've got what I wanted in a bit of a do it all bike as it felt so nice in the little pops and jumps along the way. Broke my manual record too - nothing impressive but up to a couple of seconds rather than more less up and down so inspired to work more on that too. I think off to Danbury next to try it out on some bigger jumps, and the more dh trails there - can't wait.
