Hi Guys

Anyone selling a bike bag.

I need one for a trip to Wales as some hotels get funny with taking a bike in and there is no way im leaving the DH bike in the car over night. Especially as last time my car got broken into!

Not got mega bucks but let me know what you have. Needs to be able to fit a DH bike with Fox 40's.

Cheers

Jamie

Hey dude - what about finding a hotel that will store your bike securely?

Thats what Ive done when traveling either here or abroad with the bike and never had an issue. They have been stored in wine cellars, ski rooms, basements, utility rooms, secure out buildings etc. Just ask - lots of places will help out and you can always take a lock to secure it up while in there.

Hey dude. Did that last time (rang before hand and asked manager if could store bike) and they said yes on phone but refused to store it on arrival. So no longer trust hotels lol.

Cheers Jim, I had looked at those before and nearly bought one. Had a quick look and couldn't find them so you have done me a favour there.

Think that is the best bet for now!

Cheers Madasnibbor. We booked a Travelodge in the end as they are cheap and tend to be ok with bikes but will be nice to have the bike bag just in case.

I would be happy to lend it out
(I'm not sure about packing away every night I like to ride stow the bike and go for a beer in the evening)
I'm not sure about a DH rig but my spesh enduro fitted in nicely wrapped up in bubble wrap and pads.and tools

Well we are in a cottage for the rest of the week, it is just the travelodge on the way there and the way back.

If you wouldn't mind me lending it for a couple of weeks that would be great. Although where are you based? If to far might be worth buying one anyway. I am going to Wales next weekend so can't buy the one on the ebay link as he is on holiday until mid August.

Once again I have left it until the last minute ....... ooops.

Yeah I've emailed them but they haven't replied and seem to be mainly road bikes. Nothing back from them yet so looking into other options. Cheers though
