Knock the leading edge off your pads with a file, cheap easy fix.

Keith..... You'll never cure this:

Its the pads moving in the calliper. The pretension spring isn't that great, and when the calliper is vibrated, the pads jiggle around a bit, and just contact the rotor, which is when you get the "ching" noise. Ive tried stretching the springs, ive got different rotors and pads, still does it.
So unless you can manufacture some Ti pretension springs, your stuck with it dude.....

Put some copper slip on the back of the pads ? or better still file the piston edges into a curve shape so there is slightly less surface contact onto the pads and the heat dissipates quicker

don't put copper slip on the pads it may damage the piston seals

You're not supposed to spread it like peanut butter, the smallest smear is all thats needed its supposed to let the pad slip about slightly which stops the squealling thats made as the friction between the two builds up.

Its not the pads interfering know the calliper, its the pad dancing on the rotor.... Copper slip will make absolutely no difference.

Loosen your calliper bolts pull your lever and tighten bolts while holding lever in. This re centres the disk in the pads. Good if you have uneven wear. Worked for me. As does filing off leading edge if pads.

That'll just let both pads dance about the same amount, i guess Nick could try and tune the note they make to something more audible than a #c ? only other thing is to make the pads fit tighter into the caliper but how to do that without ruining performance or having to re-do it may be nearly impossible, a metal shim maybe ?

If pads are dancing then it would be down to uneven push on the piston, easiest fix would be to sort the seals so it pushes in a straight line.
common on avids and such when they over extend due to wear the seals go dry and then won't seat properly
