I musn't moan my other half is pretty decent about letting me ride but i like to keep her happy and not take the pizz but i really want to ditch Sunday or sat mornings in favor of ALL DAY Sundays, I realise going every sunday would be pushing it but maybe every other ? Then i can session Herts best as its 45 min drive each way.... i'm gutted i haven't been able to get over there ever since the last essexherts session and now i have the new bike just about perfect i really want to start pushing it and getting the most out of it

but how should i break it to her :?:

Go for the morning and then get stuck in traffic... or get a puncture on the way home...

Or do like I do and do a day session once a month - it's all about balance :)

Didn't realise there were women out there that oppose Sunday riding. If she does swap her for one that don't or in the real world agree to massage her back. That always works.

Hi,
I believe we should start a bike widows club -ride near to lakeside/bluewater.
Cost shopping against cost new bike.
visit relative ( sick she does not like .)
Working overtime .
Help someone out whose cars broken .
Charity ride for good cause .
Become religious and c arry a bible with bike mags inside pages .
say a mate is relying on you .

All else fails .......... Grovel cry .

Last thing - best of luck and let us know if anything works so we can use them 9Ginea pig )

God she'd love a horse, or anything to do with horses but that's waaay out of budget, she doesn't really have a hobby which sucks big time, i can go once in a blue moon with no issue, she'd never say no directly if i went more often but she'd make it quite clear to me that i'm not about with constant digs and snipes :)

Best thing I ever did was tell her what her hobby will be from now on. Plus it aides me in xmas and birthday present buying.

Jedi mind trick?

Sounds like a good plan. Convince her that her new hobby is housework etc. then it's a win, win. Ride while she is enjoying her new hobby and come home with all the chores I mean hobbies are sorted..

Hi all,
This is a selfish site and we all should be ashamed . Just think if the other person was doing what you want to do .

( I did this as I have been told it has been read by SHE who must be OBEYED )

Bob
P.S What have the ladies of the site got to say ( they must have a list for there men folk . )
