Nice - awesome site - how do you match a battery pack to those lights as they look like they sell the head only?

I've gone for the biggest battery they do (8* 16250) and crossing my fingers.

I'm sure if it doesn't fit, one of the other batteries I have will!........

Will let you know if it fits....

They do sell the light with a battery pack for £25, but that is a 4 cell, so decided to go for the bigger one at a combined £32.

Roll on 5-15 days....

LetharG depending on battery if it don't fit could cut end off that the light end of cable add one of these.
I have no solder skills think my one was 1.1 mm

No, label said 'spare parts' and went through without any charge.

Mine is still yet to arrive...... seems to be either "delivered overseas" or in the heathrow distribution centre......

Hopefully will arrive before too long... although at least my laziness means I haven't even considered going on a night ride yet.... every cloud.... I think...

Arrived yesterday.

Battery worked absolutely fine :)

And the light looks ridiculously bright! it also weighs a lot less than I thought it would, so will try mounting it on the helmet.

Looking forward to trying it out!

G

(didn't get stung for import tax either!)

OK, I've run mine a few times now, I'm using it as a helmet mount because it's half the weight of any other light I have, it's been running really well and I've managed to get about 2h 45m out of it before it starts noticeably dimming.

I've already got 2 chargers from my DX supplied Magicshine jobbies but I'd be concerned with plug compatability and how it would charge the larger cell-pack, etc?

Graham? You there? 8-)

Want to make sure I'm not left with a light and battery pack but no way of charging properly...

PS. Was this the battery pack you ordered?
