Its a bit worrying that there have been quite a lot of crashes and injuries amongst the various groups allowed on so far, i hope the powers that be in charge of building the final course are not tempted to sanitize it too much, after all at one point the criteria for having a ride on the course pre-opening was that you were a very skilled rider upto black run standards.

Racing is a lot different to just riding a trail centre

Some people did have no idea on some technical bits and stopped right in the line of fire.. and didn't move... others just ran out of skill at some points...

Was a good test on the course and as said riding it in a race as opposed to an open course.. is very different.

Well..lets hope that the various crashes and offs havnt made them rethink the track...guess we will have to wait till May 2014, although I doubt it will be open by then.

I had the chance to sneak a ride at Woburn over the weekend..... found a good selection of trails. Here is a vid a some of the fun bits. First time down nearly all of these so some fairly shady lines were picked.

more to find I think in the south east corner of Back wood and there are a couple of good ones I didn't link in Wavendon Heath and over Woburn Road. Anywhere else I should be looking?

Finished up with a mini session on the jumps which was running so nice.
