Hi looking to make the leap to fs and can get a great deal on a 2012 trail fox tf02 (£1000 off) has anyone ridden one? also wondering if I might be better going for a 29er fs as this one is 26 inch but has a great spec reverb dropper post haven wheels and sram xo gears/avid 9 brakes which I would not get on a similarly priced 29er/27.5 bike. any thoughts?

What type of riding will you be doing?
150mm travel 26" bike wont really be comparable to most 29ers?

How much is your budget? we might be able to offer suggestions?

Then not a 29er, a 150mm trail bike sounds like the perfect bike for you
I have one of these but a earlier model for those duties, A 29er for XC duties

are normally safe bet brands

look for a bike with Shimarno brakes as Avids are rubbish and you will only be changing them a few months later.
