What would those C-clips be used for?

They're used for hose clips instead of tie wraps on the frame mounts. (see excuse for added bling)

My google-Foo is weak today but instead of this tie wrap

The alumium ones as above are very tough, I never broke any..but they are stiff and a bit tricky to get off.

After 5 weeks off bike so far after big crash at Warley and being 38 with kids, I have decided to hang up balls out mentality and have a go at this enduro lark! Even though I cannot raise my arm above my head I thought I would give my rehab a boost by purchasing my new enduro bike: The Canyon Strive Al 8.0Race. After comparing the spec on this to anything else in the price range there were only two options. A strive https://www.canyon.com/_en/mountainbike ... ab-reiter2 or a YT Industries Wicked Pro http://www.yt-industries.com/shop/en/Bikes//Wicked-Pro.

The strive won the day as the spec was better and I am not convinced about the whole 650b revolution. Tried to get the Black version but sold out within two days of the 2014 bikes becoming available. After some messing around and a little compensation (another story) I ordered the Medium in club Raw finish. I have put together a little page on this bike as I build websites etc, check it out: http://mattclover.com/family/index.php/my-new-ride/

I am happy to answer any questions on the ordering process etc as is purchased direct from the manufacturer which is where the saving come from. If you priced up the individual parts on this bike you are looking at around 4 grand without the frame! I paid around 2450!

It arrives Tuesday so I will be adding some pics and maybe a little video.

I do not think I will be able to ride this in anger until the new year but having it sit there should incentivise my rehab!!

^ yep not convinced its water tight but it has roller bearings so can easily be whipped out cleaned and relubed :)
In 2018 I'll need a new bb :)
(Danbury grit is a true test of parts in the winter.
