Check out the riding spots section with its overlays http://www.essexhertsmtb.co.uk/riding_spots.php - let me know if it goes bonkers in your browser.

Like this, and notice you have Broxbourne woods flagged. Worth a visit if you like xc but best to do with a local to get the best out of it and find the areas. If anyone fancies this sometime let me know and I'll get it organised. Mileage is there but not really technical.

Depends what you are looking for. personnaly i would park near Newgate st (although not easy i must admit) and drop in at that end as there is some fun stuff there. Thereafter head over towards Broxboune woods by taking a short road link (500 metres approx). there are some other proper parking spots up the road from Paradise Park which you can use. but then you have to go in both directions to get the most out of it.

Happy to do an exploration/ discovery ride sometime as I havent been over there for ages. Was my intro to MTB riding :D
