I'm looking forward to getting it built and out for a ride on it.

I'm enjoying my Hardrock 29er but I 'm hoping this is going to be a step up in the fun stakes :D

I wanted to post my new bike on here to spread the word. Although I haven't been able to ride in anger due to injury I have bombed up and down the street a few times and my mate has also and promptly went home and ordered the same one for himself after three months of trying to decide what to buy. When it arrived it looked greta and went together a treat and was set up pretty well straight out of the box.

Anyway, I can't help tinkering and thought it was a little bit too blue so I removed the standard blue seat clamp and added a nice Hope quick release number. The fork stickers were a bit blue also so I got a replacement standard silver set from Slix (who are great by the way and do some great Saint cranks protector stikers). Also changed the Ergo (or whatever they are called) grips for kevlar Renthal ones, which I love! Also changed the blue Can Creek top stem cap for a black one i Had from another Cane Creek stem I had. Little changes but I think they make the bike look more purposeful and not quite so 'Blue'.

The spec on this bike is outstanding and the bike is superb value!

Before and after (before is the small one)

Very soon I hope ;)

Just need to get a few bits sorted out and then get over to a mates to get it built as he's supplying most of the bits.

It's in the same red as the picture... sort of ok with it but it was that or the natural and the natural was out of stock until January.... and that's obviously far too long to wait :wtf: tbh I'll live with being 50/50 on the colour for the price ;)

Cheers Adam for the offer on bits etc... if I get stuck I'll drop you a line

See you at Danbury with it soon ! ( I hope )
