I'm selling my sons Ridgeback MX24 as he just got upgraded to a 26" Kona...

Anyway, it's in great condition, has had new shifters as well as a load of other bits including brand new never ridden Bonti tyres.

Am looking for £100 ono.

If you are interested I'll get some pictures sorted out :)

Sorry not a sale ;) but I was wondering what replacement shifters you used. The ones on my sons are on there last legs.... also you wouldn't happen to know what BB they use?

Shifters were easy - I got replacement revo shifters from ebay.

BB I looked at but don't think I found it in the end or I did but then couldn't buy it - sorry :(

Thanks David... was wondering if you'd swapped them for trigger shifters.

I thought about SRAM X3/4 but at the time my sons fingers where too short!

That and I could only find a long cage X3 rear mech and I didn't think that would work...

Just done the same... Shimano Altus ST-EF51 EZ seem to be a straight swap but as they come with the brake levers too they cost more and it doesn't seem worth it for the 6 months he's got left on the bike.

That was the other thought in the back of my mind... just a little longer and he'll be on a XS 26" bike and then everything becomes so much simpler!
