If I don't take my son along, I will have room for 3 more people and 3 bikes...assuming my bike rack can hold steady with 3 bikes on (has not yet been tested with 3). Happy to give a lift to anyone. I am based in Chelmsford for those who dont know.

The way i see it:

Anything between the A10 and the reservoirs is a shit hole. Not a great place to live when biking is your hobby. All of the following happened within a year and a half:

I got a bike stolen from outside of the Ponders End Tescos when it was locked up. I actually went on to steal it back, i saw it a week later in Enfield town leant against the JD Sports shop window. I was in my lunch break so i told my mate to hold my doughnuts and meet me in school. Jumped on it and rode it into school (a 30 second ride as i go to Enfield Grammar)

I leant a bike against the fence in my driveway, i opened the door and literally stepped in just to put my bags down and turn back to get the bike, and the bike got stolen. I saw the guy riding down the road on my bike.

I got my bike stolen along with my dads at the Enfield Pageant of Motoring. Both were locked and there were loads of (useless) policeman everywhere. Even with police dogs.

I was walking with my friend while holding my bike, i got surrounded by literally about 20 people who mugged me for my bike. I didnt want to let go of the bike so they even threatened to stab me!!! I was so so so lucky a police car drove past and they left me alone and legged it.

I got chased by two people on bikes who wanted my bike. I didnt know they were behind me until the last minute so i tried getting away but it was too late as they were already going quick. One of them claimed it was his mates bike (a pile of bull because i built it) Long story short i eventually managed to talk my way out of it.

Out of the 5 that were nicked, there was only one i was really upset about, as it was my pride and joy. The others were broken in some way or another and i bought them for a fiver off some friends and just repaired for fun.

When I had my enduro I never left it anywhere I'm super paranoid. My garage is very secure and my bike is also chained to a ground anchor fitted when I had the enduro. I would be upset if the 456 left me but it does not hold pride and joy factor :)

Hi,
The Thetford races finish in Feb so I may have a go at the MSG serries .
It is all about the time, maybe money depends on the o/t at work.
But certainly will let people know.
If some one takes the bikes and my car holds five including me as long as not too fat , it may answer some of the transport problems. The other one is take tents camp over night and have a party.......

I know what you mean. My bikes + my kids bikes are locked up in the shed. Although it is locked, it is just a shed. Every morning I look from the window to see if the lock is still in place.
