Welcome along, i also have diabetes and controlling it can be a PITA when doing lots of activity but i'm finding my feet and actually some common sense has really helped, like put full sugar orange juice in your camel back rather than the low sugar ones that i've had all my life, then every time you take a sip you get a bit of energy !! I cant believe i didn't realise this earlier, its so simple ! Also remembering that your body continues to burn the carbs off after the event for quite sometime is the one to watch, it makes me a bit nervous of any driving after a big riding session unless i have some carbs with me to tuck into !
