If bribing domestically is not a criminal offence then I am in. See you guys at 9.30.

I think I saw you guys just outside Dunmow? Was bringing the Mrs-to-be to Stansted and passed a group of MTBers. Too bad I couldn't join in...

I was on my jack jones. Suspect I was in the wrong car park this morning.

Eta had a good ride up to Dunmow and found some a few bits of singletrack although still a bit muddy.

Will make sure I'm in the right place for the next one!

Might have been us. There were 4 of us and then 3 due to a puncture at Dunmow. Craig, what bike were you riding? May have passed us at some point.
Biggest let down was that the bacon stop at the far end was closed! Weather held off apart from a bit of rain at Rayne.

It's the car park by the train station... Oh and it's only 10p to park all day....

Never see anyone else their this morning... Was raining quite hard this morning as well but brightened up later on..

Shame on the two punctures the other rider got on his first outing... Nice bike but the rear tube was made of butter so gave up.. Hope you got back ok fella.. It can happen to us all so no worries...

We see a few cyclists out and passed a few..

Just me a whyte had the bacon in the end at Rayne as the hut is closed still, until when I don't know. Mug of tea was well received and all in did about 34 miles.. Nice for a Sunday morning....,

Yeah, shame about Keith and his Conti tyres. Unlucky.

Lovely bacon sarnie and it was nice to have late into the ride when i was nearly puffing. Having had that and the tea, I could have done it all over again. In fact, at the end I felt like I could have had another 20miles....certainly not at Chatman's pace though.

Nice ride, 34 miles is certainly the longest ride for me so far and the first ride registered in Strava (Whytey MTB). Now that I am in it....Avey Lane!!!!

The man forced us to carry on :)
Keith as you're just down the road from me, if you ever want to lift share just let me know. Will hopefully go to more rides if time allows. Glad you made it back OK. Did you find anything in the tyre?

We all chipped in first time, applied the rule again when he experienced sudden air loss from the rear tube again, but he chose to take the medi vac way out.. We cleared the landing RV point and extraction was executed.. He called in his backup plan...

We continued with the rest of the mission and executed the bacon sarnie manoeuvre with precision and skill... :-)

I was on a bright orange hardtail with white fox forks. I myself was wearing a fetching ninja setup with orange bits. When I did move round to the right carpark, I parked next to a mitsi shogun sport which I suspect was chatman's. It was still there when I got back around 12ish.
