Epping Saturday was wet, muddy and pretty horrid. Swinley yesterday was more or less (few bits of standing water on a few sections) perfect.

Epping Sunday Evening was very boggy in patches.. more like an Early / late winter ride than June.

Been desperate to get back out into Epping, but it sounds like it's still pretty crap

Took the words straight out of mouth. But ill stillbe heading up there. Might tack a trip down to Danbury at some point too.

Danbury was spot on last night.

Take insect repellent and plenty of water though damn its hot!

Epping better last night, wet and sloppy in the normal bad areas but some dry lines over the forest, with the good f/cast weather should be rocking at the weekend.

My Stereo is so much quicker than my old AMS it does (only sometimes) scare the living S**T out of me.....& the MET PARA-CHUTE is bang on..
So light & comfy......Skills training tomorrow & bedgebury Sunday....don't you just love the weekends....

Wormley is finally drying except for a few ditch crossings.

sticking with Panaracer Fire XC tyres till its drier

In the meantime, can I suggest that those of you who know Wormley, explore the opposite stream bank to "Daddy Knows Best" .
A walk up should reveal a seriously fast (and underused) track weaving up and down the bank-side, which avoids the worst of the mud and creates a second half mile long trail...

Epping - 95% dry. The worst of the bogs will still have you making a detour but they are getting less and less of an issue. Most have a dry line opening up through them. Still probably the boggyest place is Essex however. Next weekend we might finally be back to dry running.

We did 24 miles round Epping Sunday North and South sides and most was rideable, a few puddle bogs right in the tree shade, most other areas where good going, just lots of loose branches and sticks everywhere so watch those rear hangers, almost had a few mishaps, some areas like the Jedi twisty section is quite knackered from the rain and bogs...but all in Epping is running sweet....

Epping Sunday was so much better than a few weeks back. All the way from Hollow Ponds deep past High Beach was dry as a bone. The only time my tyres got wet was fording a little stream. Nice to only have dust to clean off.
