I agree that some of the Halfords stores are not great but most I've dealt with have been fine.
If you go in there expecting these guys to know as much as you then you will be disappointed , remember that normally they will be building low end bikes and kids bikes.
I bought my voodoo azian 29er from my local store and the build was fine

Ive just bought a voodoo bizango from Halfords is it any good , seems to be great write up on the net and biker mags

Well my mate has just picked up his team pro fs all boxed up..woo hoo.!! ,so it looks like I will be putting it together safely and correctly...lol
