As per the title, I'm going to give this 1x10 malarky a go with a 34t fat thin chain ring, although i've only ever dropped a chain once on my 2x10 it may have been the bash ring and clutch mech keeping it on, so i'd like a bash for the 34 (mine is for a larger ring and will look shit, and although i have a clutch i'd rather be belt and braces with a guide, although i guess i can always use my redundant front mech ?
