Hi all ,
Well I found a cheap seat post .
Not always the best thing todo.
Here it is
TMARS2014 Model 419D pro remote 3 heights .
Any comments .
Only thing is it has a collar to fit a 30.9 frame (shim )

Hope it will take my weight and a good bashing ..............

Will let you know when I get it and fit it up .

Well done Bob starting thread on droppers.

also looking at dropper post here was a post on here about a new version of that dropper. I try and find it.
Does look dog ugly and wound if wast of money were I also been looking at the RockShox Reverb MMX Remote more money but looks like it would last.

Also Thomson look well built but what do I know

Bob would you just cable tie to frame then you could put dropper on one of your other bikes.

My Camber has a connection along the frame to run a cable along so presume it was built for a remote seat .

Bob
Cost less than 70 pounds so I thought I would give it a go I am having trouble going down verticle drops as feel as top heavy and going over the bars .

3 years in and mine is still going strong, it packs up every now and then or gets fiddly instead of smooth when it needs a clean up, the inner stanchion is showing signs of pitting and rust, might machine up a new one from stainless or alloy if i can be arsed. Seat wobbles about a fair bit but to be honest this is probably a good thing and prevents you getting rub marks or a rash !

Been pretty happy with mine but can tell the difference between it and a reverb

Mine snapped after I spun it round so the cable excited the front. Not sure of this was the reason. Looking at it it had fatigued cracked at one of the holes that had elongated replaced it with an lev kindshock 27.2 and fitted a remote. Seems much better so far. More stable
