Hi, I'm going to do my first 24 hours solo race this weekend at Bontrager Twentyfour12 and haven't found anyone who can come over and give me a kick in the ass when I feel like I'm going to die  :lolno:

It's this weekend, starting on Saturday 26th midday. I'm driving to the venue near Plymouth on Friday afternoon from N19 in London. If anyone has no plans and wants to see what does a big event look like why not coming over and staying together? Just a little help would be enough. 1 space in my van or we can meet there Friday or Saturday.

Anyway, I'm sure other solo riders' friends next to me might give me a hand.

Firstly you're mental.
Secondly ask Spencer I'm sure he'd like an adventure?

#OfficiallyMad

So want to do a 12 or 24 event - but then I forget to train...

Good luck and let the honour of EssexHertsMTB power you on through :high5:

I'll do my best. Don't feel strong right now. Some more rest needed and a 'wake up my legs' short session and I'll be fine.
Wish I had Essexhertsmtb stickers

Meh!! Super fast and dusty trails, great atmosphere. Everyone cheering but I had to quit after 12 hours for pain in my lateral side of knee. Yesterday swollen, probably tendinitis. We'll see. I was 9th at midnight with 14th laps and feeling fine.
Time to rest and get the new build ready for TORQ in your sleep in 4 weeks

9th out of 70 something. Also 30 minutes faster than the second veteran in podium

No training at all now. I don't even commute to work. Knee is getting better but I'll wait some days more.

Actually, since May never trained at all. Beastway mtb series racing worked very well
