Hi guys,

Just wanted opinions on Muc-OFF products.

I have recently brought an new bike and with it i brought a few Muc-OFF products to take care of it including NANO TECH BIKE CLEANER, BIO CHAIN DOC, BIO WET LUBE, BIKE SPRAY and DISC BRAKE CLEANER.

personaliy i would recommend all these products BUT ONLY IF you can get a good price. I found that halfords was a good one to go with. I know that Muc-OFF isn't cheap but if you search around the prices will drop.

Out of all the products the chain doc stands out, it works a treat every time i use it. i know its expensive but once you have brought the chain cleaning machine its not to much money to replace the can also the lube is good, i brought the wet lube as its coming near to winter and the trails are getting sloppy.

Don't bother buying all the brushes unless you really want to because a sponge and a household brush is good enough!

HAHA , no not on commission. I'm 15 , i didn't mean it to sound that way. i just wondered if i was the only one who uses this stuff.

I get my muc off in bulk from a motor x shop can't think how much but 2 x 5 Litres lasts a couple of seasons
I also use gt 85 to disperse the water after cleaning and just before a ride so shit does not stick do bad

I do the same , before I go out on a ride I spray the bike with the bike spray it's says on the can it has PTFE in it which stops mud sticking to the bike.
I got the Bike spray and cleaner from Halfords for £8 I never thought about bying in bulk

If you haven't got one already I recommend the chain doc as talked about in first post and lube. You can't go wrong with it!

I've started using this: http://www.fenwicks.info/bike/index.php ... oncentrate as it's cheaper than Muc Off and does just as good a job. FS-1 dilute 1/10 for normal cleaning and use neat to degrease stuff (when stripping down bearings and such.

Smells nicer too lol

i think I will either buy in bulk or try a cheaper option when I run out of muc-off

No point in buying expensive stuff if you can get something equivalent for less

I went with Rhino-goo from Grips in Rayleigh, just as good as the muc-off cleaner but no where near the price.

The Muc-off Bikespray is the business and would recommend.

When my bike get dirty I use Hope Sh1t Shifter or £1 world bike cleaner. £1 world smells like Muc-Off could be the dreads from factory.

I use fenwicks but have used muc off in the past

I dont find any of them that good and apart from grease think water, sponge and a brush probably get as much off. I have done a lazy wash in the past where I have sprayed with muc off then rinsed and thebike still has a thin layer of grime on it
