Report:
I did two rides over the weekend in the helmet, and pleasantly surprised both times.
XC with the family, lots of stop start and lots of chatting, didnt get in the way at all and kept it on the whole time, used normal riding glasses.
DH race sunday, Best bit, queuing up the start ramp with my helmet on and goggles on without steaming up or feeling uncomfortable bearing in mind how hot it was sunday, then getting to the bottom of the run and not having to rush to get the helmet off!
Overall very pleased.

Replacing crappy shimano mx80 with these v12 2014 edition.
I hope they will be close to the reliability of the vaults.

I like the DMR pedals but the paint they seem to use is a nano width thick...

As long as I don't have to return the pedals for replacement every two months as this is what was happening with the saints I can live with the surface being painted and not as premium look the saints have.
