It peed me off too when I bought mine direct from a shop. Then I added jockey wheel set on top - I felt robbed, but that's emergency for you.

Jamie is coming to us so we all ride from Chelmsford ;-)

What brake pads do you need? I have 2 brand new sets sat in front of me that don't fit my breaks, either because they sent the wrong ones or i am a t*t and ordered the wrong ones (probably the latter)

Nice ride tonight Jamie. It felt like a 30km. Lovely weather, beautiful fog. A bit more rainfall and we will soon get stranded.

Lol, it was wet so not the sticky stuff but it did make it hard to pick up any pace (8km in the first hour!!). It was warm though which made it a enjoyable ride. There is mud everywhere now, no escaping from it. The beauty of it is that the legs start aching after 15miles not 30miles. ;-) Jamie and I thought we ride Hadleigh next Tue or Wed. He could give you a lift too.

Hadleigh on Tuesday (Geoff's backyard so he could be leading I think) and maybe Danbury on Thursday or wherever suits others. I am not fussed, mud is everywhere really.

Lol, we've got to find a cure that does not involve tarmac.

Yeah but thats for day rides which is fine. I am sure you are not referring to evening ride options.

Too far for a regular-ish evening ride but that would be fine with me occasionally mate. I have to be working from home to have enough time to get ready and drive there.
