As a rough guide, on 650b wheels running specialized butcher control front and purgatory grid rear, for wet trail conditions, what pressures should I be aiming at for a good starting point?

About 190lbs. Tubeless.

I'd bang in 35lbs... and take a pump...

I would suggest 28 front 30 rear and work out from there. Tubeless allows you to go lower without loss of rolling resistance but more grip. Too low though and the tyre will roll and possibly burp.

30lbs and I'd be sliding all over the place... but then I do weigh 1,000lbs +

Ditto that - i only get above 30 if im riding rocky terrain and im trying to prevent pinch punctures even with tubes
