Hello everybody . I will spend a short time in London to study English, from April 1st, for 45 days. I live and practice mountain biking in Brazil , and I would like to have the opportunity to do some trails in England.

I wonder if it is possible to do any trail with the group, and if anyone knows a place that has mountain bikes for rent.

Many thanks

Gabriel Barja

Swinley trails are your best bet there are a couple of shops round there that hire bikes worth riding.
I'm sure someone will fill in the details

Quite a few places not too far from London, see the 'MTB Trails' link above. Epping, Swinley, Chicksands, Aston Hill, and my nearest spots Danbury and the soon to be opened Hadleigh Farm Olympic track are all reachable by train from London, (some are more DH orientated than others). London has good transport links going in most directions. I'm in Essex which is east from London by the coast.

Don't know much about bike rental, my very local site the Hadleigh Olympic track is supposed to be fully open in March and promises bike rental on site, check out the local club > http://www.hadleighmtbclub.co.uk/ or the FB page > https://www.facebook.com/groups/256524227766313/ or http://www.hadleighfarm.org.uk/2012-games or http://www.essexlegacy.org/hadleigh/had ... acy-plans/

Thanks RayPoly, I saw there is a place for rent a mountainbike, I hope we could ride after I arrive in London (beginning of april). You can get in contact by facebook (Gabriel Barja, Brasília-Brazil). See you.
