Hmmm nice - those berms make me go a bit weak at the knees.

My little yellow evil has just got very excited.

Jon - you have got to sort out a little jump bike before we head up there (once my bones mend)

Finaly went today :)

great place

4x is very fun there, nice tiple jump, towards the bottom it does flatten out a bit so its hard 2 keep speed down there (was on a ss bike, so with gears would be better i guess)

dual track is good, except quite extreme and a very long walk back up, so didnt do it 2 many times, but has a fun wallride + towards the bottom and round the last berm you pick up alot of speed which is fun

jump track, only was doing the first half of it as the second half are about 30 foot step ups down a steep hill (tabled but still very scary) os was only doing the top tables which is more then enough 2 please me as they're pretty big themselves

dirt jumps werent rideable ( i wouldnt have done them anyway ) but they are huuuuuuuuuuuuge

pump track is nice 2 start warming up on, just keeping hte speed towards the end is a bit hard, but it is possible 2 get all the way round if you try hard

the service there is great, they are very friendly and one of the guys there was riding with us a bit and giving us tips, and managed 2 teach my mate who isnt the best at jumping how to clear the tripple, and also another person i was riding withs brake stopped working, and hte guy went home to get him a spare bolt

food / drink on site is also very good :)

they also were telling us there plans of what they are going to get there eventualy : downhill, freeride, slopestyle, xc, then he said basicaly anything 2 do with biking htere gonna put in, including another dual and 4x, with the plan for the 4x to have a 30 foot gap jump, and a sweeping berm into a huge rock garden, theyre gonna make it as huge as they can

all in all a great place with alot of room 2 expand, chicksands is going to have to go under alot of work or i can see greensands taking over :)

ill post a link to some videos from today when i get them uploaded :)

sorry for such a long message btw :P

Nice vids; let you get a little feel of the place. Kind of wondering how its going to cope during winter without any tree cover for protection.
