Anyone riding at UK Bike Skills tomorrow morning? I'm aiming to be there from around 09.30.

What's the deal with this UKBS place? Is that the same place that Jedi does his skills training in?

Yeah, that's the place - Jedi built most of it and runs most of his coaching sessions there - so you can get some idea what's there from some of the blog entries here and there's some photos and videos on this forum as well.

If you're interested in riding there, best bet is to PM Jedi or email him at info@ukbikeskills.co.uk as you need to become a member to ride there regularly.

Sounds good mate - i've got a training session with Tony booked two Fridays from now, so I'll have a look around when I'm there.

Cheers,

Tim

Unfortunately not, most of the down hill stuff is still under 15 ft of snow which is a shame. Although i would only have got overexcited and bashed myself in.

Rode the Emigrant trail and Sawtooth both fast flowy single track. Ended up on a Rocky Mountain Altitude 29er which I was reluctant to take but the shop was adamant. All I can say is if I was doing lots of XC then I would be on a 29er that thing just rolled and rolled!

Hey Christhemtber.... taken from the site

Quote:
UK Bike Skills is based in Hertford, Hertfordshire. The majority of our coaching is held at our private skills centre in Hertfordshire, but we are in the fairly unique position of being able to coach across the whole of the UK

its not really a place you would join as a beginner... best way is do some training http://www.ukbikeskills.co.uk and if you feel like there's lots there you can ride or can would feel confident riding have a chat with Tony about it :)
