Well after the fiasco at FoD were the it was pointed out to me that the disc roters were about to fall off :o (what is it with me and brakes lol) I decided to give the bike another once over when I got home seeing as it needed a deep clean anyway to make sure other stuff was working OK.

Took off the Chain to check bearings and in the process the LG1 lower slider sheared horizontly straight across the bolt hole for the whole lenght of the slider with the lightest of touches. :o :o :o

Good news is BB is fine, at least!

Will be trying to get one sorted tomorrow via warrenty and if issues will need to source one ASAP.

Just as a back up - Anyone got one floating around not in use, just in case??

Cheers guys

I never check things either, but hoping to change that after losing a chainring bolt on Wed. Went back to the car to check the other bolts and another chainring bolt and the crank bolt were about to fall off!

That's handy, we can buy a new set of bolts between us. They're £15 a set!

I'm the opposite, paranoia, (yes I can't spell) its my biggest problem. A chainring bolt comes loose and I'm worrying about it all ride.

I check my bike after every ride and god my ocd has got worse, I cleaned my bike 4 times in 2 days

I hate MUD.

I've been running on 3 chainring bolts for a while now, not an isue.

Funny story, I managed to loose all my chainring bolts in Epping and my brother found every last one.
