Front fork is a Pike with solo air.
According to the chart on the fork, my weight range equals 75 to 85psi to get 30% sag.
It turns out I need 70psi.

I'm setting the from sag by sitting on the bike, leaning against a wall or in between a door frame, standing on the pedals and getting into the attack position, ie, weight on the bars.

I don't bother both bouncing up and down or anything.

Not sure if this is correct or why I need less air than on the chart?

Front sag is being set with the rebound damper fully open.

Rear shock is a CC DB Inline CS.

I'm setting sag to 17mm as suggested on the CC base tune guide.

I do this by sitting on the bike with the dropper post fully up.
Leaning against a wall with my elbow, sitting on the saddle and taking my feet off the pedals, hence putting as much weight onto the saddle as possible.

Is this method correct?

All i would say is that when setting up suspension there is a lot of trial and error and it all depends on how and where you ride. It needs to be soft enough that you bottom out at least once on a ride (no point in having 150mm travel but only using 90mm of it).
