Hiya Gents,

Anybody serviced Rockshox Revelations?

I plan on servicing mine tomorrow, but don't want to get half way into the service and realize I dont have oil or the right tools etc?

Any advice,

Thanks

Ive done a few rockshox forks and they should be fine. SRAM has an excellent utube channel which should give you all the info you need to know

Cheers Jon! My revs aren't holding air. I got my fingers crossed its just a seal. LBS reckons it might be a cartridge...I am gonna start with a service and see how it goes from there.

On ur 29er - arnt they rebas not revelations?

RS forks dont have carts mate so im not sure what they are on about - they have the usual set up of a damper u can unscrew and an air system which can be taken apart - no fox escque carts in sight

The Dual Air system is most likely the cuplrit with a bit of dirt getting in an oring somewhere causing the issue - this bugger can be had apart in 10 mins

Well I been racking my brain trying to figure out where the damn cartridge is........ glad I am not nuts!

I have revs on my marin - to many bikes - I know :D

The craziest thing happened this arvo! We all sitting around the table in the park and we hear this pop! Loud pop! check all the tyres, but they all fully inflated!

The seal on top of the fork just popped off! So air is escaping from somewhere.

Cheers for the link
