Upgrading my Commencal Meta trail hardtail from Ardent front/Ardent Race rear to High Roller II front/Ardent rear seeing as that combo seems to work well on the Aeris.
P.S. Ardent Race unlikely to go back on unless we have a dry summer. The bike actually came with Ikons front and rear but they puncture so easily whereas these Exo tyres seem bulletproof.

New Hope Pro 4 Tech DH 650b hoops...

Wider than my old e13...
Image

But thinner outer wall...
Image

And if you yank the nasty Hope transfers they come clean off- result!
Image

New wheels... Hope Pro 4 Tech DH - cheap as chips at £345 - especially compared to the e13 they are replacing that cost me £700.

First thoughts;

Hubs look nice - tick
Hubs sound wicked - tick
Rims are sooo much wider - tick
Outer wall of rim is a fair bit thinner - crap
More spokes 32vs28 holes - tick

Looking forward to fitting them to the bike and going out for a nutty lol

They're not the lightest... But then neither am I!

Wheel weights: Front standard spokes 26" 1012g//Rear standard spokes 135mm

So mine will be a bit heavier as 650b.

Bought a couple of these for the Minion, and a BB92 BB which annoys me even writing it.

Recently upgraded the garmin I had from an Edge 200 to the new Edge 520.

Great bit of kit and loads of features, like the live strava segments, was racing them on Sunday's ride lol. Crisp clear screen and easy to use and setup

Image

I also have the sensors and HR monitor with this too, all very good and another graph to Look at in strava
