Hi people
Please could you give me some help as im torn between three bikes but i can only afford one.
One of them is running 2x XTR M9000 and the other is running 1x SRAM Eagle x01 and the third XT M8000

I never had a 2x before but i see the first bike as good value for all the spec or be it new XTR will be launched soon.

Ive always run 1x in the past and got along fine with it but not to keen on the Forks on this bike?

There is a third and cheaper option????

Lower spec than the other two but i would save a good £££s

What are your thoughts if it was you having to choose from one of these?

Firstly I love the Scott's, Secondly I take it you are a XC racer?

2x10 is great if you are needing the mega range but the 1x12 gives you all of the range but with less options, less weight and less noise.

the RC is a gorgeous looking bike but its a lot of money if you're not using it for its intended race purpose? (this also counts the first one, way over priced IMHO)

The Pro is a good spec but i think there's better buys for all rounders out there. If its not about money at all, get the RC

I'm leaning towards the world cup at the moment. Ate those Rockshox ok the SID RL?
Ive one the FOX factory step cast before but never Rockshox

For XC they are fine, I had them in 150mm and were too flexi but shorter travel and XC riding they'll be great.

I went for the Scale 700 XTR

What was the deciding factor?

Just the amount of spec for the money really.
Its a stunning bike in person as the graphics are in matt silver not the white i thought.

I have to say though that part of me still wants the RC world cup even though i don't like the forks lol

Forgot to mention i actually found a secondhand scale 700 ultimate with quite a few scratches on it for a silly price. I sold it within 24hrs for a £250 profit lol
