I was on the course today as well, still pretty wet and slippery in some of the wooded sections. Looking pretty good though - believe I will have to make my racing debut on Sunday now too :)

Yeh i won't be able to make them either, cause I'm back off to Glasgow for Aug. Have to wait until next year...

Though after checking i might be able to make Langdon hills for the finale :)

I've got a very rare silver astra! :) Be wearing a maroon tshirt tho.

Good good, cause the only tyres i've got down here just now are my tioga DH, so don't want other people to be getting an advantage on slicks :D

Couple of quick ones on the 'norm' for these races. Do many people carry tools/spare inner tubes etc or just run the risk of the unfortunate happening? Not had a puncture in over a year but i can it happening tomorrow just cause I'm racing. Also don't have a frame bag so it means carrying a bag, and I'm still toying with the decision of camelbak v's water bottle.
