Good luck to all you racers today :)

Hope you have fun..

Well what fun that was.. They had changed to route since you lot did it on Wed, VW wanted his £3 back :x :x the wooded section claimed many a rider as the rutted corners where very greasy.. Good course though. The whippets whizzed up the hills and then where overtaken again by me flying down the hills

Good mix of terrain at Danbury and the usual cross field bit as well :wtf: all in a good race....

Theyvchanged the bomb hole section  but it did leave a nice jump :)

I stand by request for my £3 back?

The hole thing was just over 9 miles long.. doing a lap in about 16 - 18 minutes. The lap computer they had setup showed I did it in 1hr and 12mins..

A few people where falling off   as some of the corners where getting very greasy and the routes where grabbing at your wheels :lolno:. A good course though as some good bits in the wooded sections....

Started this well before the off and forgot to turn it off afterwards for a while

No bomb hole! best bit.
I liked the bomb hole and the bmx switchbacks.

I'll have a look on endomondo.

Had a right blast today! Really bought home how unfit I am tho! Blimey those long fireroad/ grass field areas really took it out of me. Loved catching them in the woody bits just wish there was a bit more of it.
There were quite a few fallers on those routes, One guy I saw stack it into a tree and land in one of the big mud puddles! Whoops

Real good to meet some of you guys off here made I abit easier knowing what was going on.

Off to wash the bike now.
Any more rides coming up?

Hi guys! I was there today, getting some camera practice in (a little bit too much lycra and pedalling for me to want to actually take part ;) ), I didn't end up taking all that many shots but if anyone interested posts their number, I'll see if I snapped you. It's my first time shooting anything XC-related, so was a bit of a learning curve, some came out o.k though!

In case anyone had time to look around while they were going hell-for-leather, I was the mud-splattered photographer (I got a little too close to a puddle in one of the wooded bits - worst thing was it didn't even make a good shot :x ).

Chris

I'm tryin not to depress myself by looking at the kids who beat me horribly, and just put it down to me taking it a bit easy on some of the climbs... :)
