Right, I think im being a bit dumb as it's probably staring me in the face, but I cant seem to enter The Codham Park round, been looking on the MSG website and cant find the "entry" button!!

I've allready registered but after entering my email and stuff I still cant enter

Will be doing the midweek blast thing but can't race as I'm doing the Exmoor Explorer on the Sunday.

Hmmmm, I'm getting tempted to enter the 1 hour one.... I'm going along for the main event to take some photos (and hopefully actually get some of the folks on here this time ), but I suppose I could turn up early and enter...

Not sure if I can face the embarrassment on second thoughts

Get yourself along to it, meet us lot around 08:45 do the test run if you like, then the race @10 for an hour or so... simples

What I've found is if you have already entered a race and then go to do another entry, it says you already exist. just use the use this email address again for the new one (or similar text) and it'll let you complete the transaction

Got email today as I asked booking race. That part site getting fixed year.

Just waiting for bike shop now.

Well thats me all sorted and entered for Sunday, anyone going along tommorrow for the Wednesday pre race ride?

Out of curiosity, how seriously is the 1 hour one taken? I'm quite seriously considering it now, despite not really having the right bike/clothing for a full-on XC thrash (making excuses already you'll see )

The serious one's do the two hour race.. It's all about having fun and enjoying the bike ride.. If you want to look the part that's upto you... cycle shorts under a pair of baggy shorts and some t-shirt or cycle top + helmet and gloves will do ya... I have my daughters old Barbie one if your short of a helmet and like the colour

Do it mate, I did the last round and it was the first time I'd ridden a bike in nearly 3 years. It wasnt easy but very fun!
i was just wearing normal shorts and t shirt, no lycra for me!


Im gonna chuck my bike and gear in the van tommorrow as Im working in chelmsford so if anyone is up for a try out at Codham them Ill be there.

I know a couple of you have said I'd enjoy it but seems a lot to do a few laps of a marked out trail?

Don't get me wrong, not casting judgement but trying to take a view looking in.... Especially when I start thinking what I could put entry fee and juice money (prob same again ) towards for the bike or the full-suss build

I'm doing the pre race ride tomorrow at 6pm with 2 work chaps. Not doing the race though, might fo the Spetember one. Postcode CM7 5JG I believe.
