Im now considering doing the race but im not sure im gonna have the stamina for 2 hours how flat is the track?

Quite simply its not! I wouldn't say its massively hilly either but there's no flat bits

Rob, are you going over tonight to check out the course, if so I'll see you there? I may do the last race in September, but it'll be the 1 hour probably.

Could do a two hour race if can't finsh just drop out.

Cant do tonight as i aint signed up online but i may do a last minute entry to the race on sunday if i aint got too much of a hang over.

Ride an easy gear and don't push too much on flat/easy terrain. Keep the energy just for overtaking, momentum and tricky parts or bomb holes. After several laps you can decide how much to push, whereas if you burn everything on first laps you have no choice but finishing like a dead man.

Well the course is dry at the moment, although thunder has just passed over. Did a couple of laps, should be a good one. Quiet a bit of riding through through fields, but some good single track. Nice sandy slog out of the woods was a bit of a killer in the heat.

I thought the track was ace, but not ness fun for racing?
I think its going to be a track where the fast are fast and the slow will suffer:shock:

Bloody excellent tonight at Codham all taped out well marked no long boarding bits.
Did two slow laps no rock garden like last years a good thing.

Well happy came along for a look tonight.

Will be fun when others start to lap me will have to pick passing spot.
