Super happy with my Giro hex - good coverage and fitted me better than the Xar which is 2x the price

Not much advice on the what helmet front

but, i'd say don't order online, i made this mistake a few times, and always ended up with bad fitting or 'mushroom head' looking helmets, and alot of faff sending back for different sizes which still didn't sit right on my head.
its worth the extra cash traveling to go to a shop with lots of helmets (i went to the large evans store in london) were you can try a variety on in different sizes
