Up for sale as it just doesn't get used enough is my custom 29er built last year. Comes with a spare set of wheels with road tyres on so you can use this bike on and off-road. 2 bikes in 1!
The frame is a stunning Scandal v2 (which has replaceable drop outs if you want to run it as a singlespeed - available from Planet X) in a raw finish which is polished aluminium that has been anodised to give a natural but durable finish. Frame has been heavily heli-taped from new and is in fantastic condition.
Headset is OnOne Smoothie.
The tapered forks are top of the range Suntour Epicon with 100mm travel and QR15 titanium axle and remote lock out. Nice light and responsive air forks.
The brakes, shifters, triple 175mm crank, rear and front mech are all Shimano XT.
Wheels are:-
1) new Mavic CrossOne wheels QR with 185mm disc front and rear, new SRAM cassette and new Continental tyres.
2) Superstar Components wheels with 185mm discs and 9 speed cassette. Rims have a few minor scratches on them. Front is QR15, rear is 10mm QR fitted with new Vitoria road tyres.
Both sets of wheels have slime tubes fitted so minimises risks of punctures and are quick release so takes seconds to swap one set of wheels for the other set. Use one set of wheels for the road and one for off-roading giving you 2 bikes in 1.
Finishing kit is OnOne seat post and saddle. Superstar seat clamp. Up front is a 690mm Answer Pro Taper bar, Truvativ 90mm stem and new AMP lock-on grips. No pedals provided.
Bike is in 9.5/10 condition and runs perfectly. Just had new brake pads fitted and brakes bled and 27 gears adjusted by professional mechanic.
I'll also include a pair of Maxxis Beavers (good mud tyres) and a barely used Mountain King and a spare tube. Any questions just ask.
This bike cost over £1,500 to build and is in perfect working condition. Don't buy a new bike, buy this and save £££'s and get a free set of wheels.
