Bit random i know but i need one (or more) Thule tensioners, its the bit that slides through the footpack and into the roof bar end that you turn to tighten the foot pack onto the car (footpack 750 or 754)

I had a small accident when my bike fell over on the roof of my car last Sunday on the way home from Danbury, i'd just dropped Marco off and set off when crash my bike was laying sort of on top of my car, still held by the wheel straps luckily but it also provided a comedy moment as i couldn't open the drivers door seeing as there was a DMR V8 in the way LOL

I had to clamber over to the passenger side to get out, I managed to get the bike off the roof and secure it on the other side, i reckon its because i forgot to Lock the clamp in place around the frame, oh well, but anyway i managed to smash the handle/knob off one tensioner and bend the tension bar also !

I'd rather not have to buy a whole foot pack as they're expensive so take a look round in your sheds/garages for any neglected thule setups that you may want to part with

Could you not have just used a long allen key?

The actual bar is still in it, but bent, i'd rather it was complete to be honest ! call me vein.......

Ah makes more sense i'd prob do the same
